How to Request Data Deletion
eConsent LLC (“eConsent”) respects your right to control your personal data. If you would like to request the deletion of data associated with your account or your interactions with our platform, you can do so using any of the methods below.
For Consumers (Individuals Whose Consent Was Recorded)
If your consent interaction was recorded through one of our customer’s websites, you have the right to request deletion of your personal data.
Option 1: Self-Service Revocation
Visit our consent revocation page to revoke your consent and request deletion of associated data. You will need to provide the email address or phone number used during the consent interaction.
Option 2: Email Request
Send an email to accounts@econsent.org with the subject line “Data Deletion Request” and include:
- Your full name
- The email address or phone number associated with the consent record
- The approximate date of the consent interaction (if known)
- The website where the consent was given (if known)
We will process your request within 30 days and confirm deletion via email.
For Customers (Businesses Using the eConsent Platform)
If you are a registered eConsent customer and wish to delete your account and all associated data:
- Log in to your account at app.econsent.org
- Navigate to Settings > Account Settings
- Select Delete Account at the bottom of the page
- Confirm the deletion
Alternatively, email accounts@econsent.org with the subject line “Account Deletion Request” from the email address associated with your account.
For Meta (Facebook) Lead Ads Users
If you connected your Facebook page to eConsent via our Meta Lead Ads integration, you can request deletion of all data collected through that integration:
- Email accounts@econsent.org with the subject line “Meta Data Deletion Request”
- Include your Facebook Page ID or Page name
- We will delete all lead certificates, access tokens, and associated data within 30 days
You can also disconnect your Facebook page from eConsent at any time through the Meta Lead Ads section of your dashboard.
What Data We Delete
Upon receiving a valid deletion request, we will delete:
- Personal information (name, email, phone number)
- Consent records and certificates
- Session recordings and rrweb data
- IP addresses and geolocation data
- Browser and device information
- Any encrypted access tokens (for Meta integrations)
What Data We May Retain
In certain cases, we may retain limited data as required by law or contractual obligations:
- TCPA compliance records: Consent certificates may be retained for up to 5 years as required by the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, even after a deletion request. These records serve as legal evidence of consent.
- Billing records: Transaction and payment records may be retained for tax and accounting purposes as required by law.
- Anonymized analytics: Aggregate, de-identified data that cannot be linked back to an individual may be retained.
Processing Timeline
- Consumer requests: Processed within 30 days
- Customer account deletions: Processed within 14 days
- Meta integration data: Processed within 30 days

Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have additional rights including:
- CCPA (California): Right to know, delete, and opt-out of sale of personal information
- GDPR (EU/UK): Right to erasure, portability, and restriction of processing
- PIPEDA (Canada): Right to access and challenge the accuracy of personal information
We will honor data deletion requests regardless of your location.
